Summary created out of 212 reviews

De Achterste Hoef is a spacious campsite with plenty of greenery and large pitches separated by hedges. Guests particularly appreciate the clean sanitary facilities that are regularly maintained, the friendly and helpful staff at reception, and the extensive facilities including the swimming pool, swimming lake with slide, and playgrounds scattered across the site. The animation team organizes fun activities for children and the restaurant is praised for its honest dishes at reasonable prices. However, many visitors complain about significant price increases and find the wifi connection very poor, while some experience noise disturbance from other guests and feel there is insufficient supervision of campsite rule enforcement.

We were disappointed with the campground. There wasn’t much fun entertainment for young children. The pool was a big letdown. The restroom building closed during our last week of peak season because the campground had emptied out (kids from the south had already gone back to school, but we’re from the central region and had a late vacation). There were hardly any kids left during that last week, so we went home early.

We vonden de camping tegenvallen. Weinig leuke animatie voor kleine kinderen. Zwembad viel erg tegen.

A really nice campground—not too big or crowded, but not too small either. You can make your stay as lively as you want; the entertainment options are great, but not nonstop. Nice pool, fun swimming lake, and clean restroom facilities. The site is a bit cramped, though, so it can be tricky with a car.
